We Run The City Utrecht offers running courses for various training levels.
We Run The City is a foundation that aims to support both new and experienced runners to run properly and safely. Above all, our goal is to help them have fun with running and continue to enjoy this sport for a lifetime. We take special care of our training groups, which are guided by a professional trainer and never exceed more than 15 persons. This limit guarantees sufficient time to individually coach each participant and support running goals individual runners may have.

Our starting points are located throughout the city of Utrecht. Any runner will find a course that meets personal expectations.

Our training levels

☆Fitwalk: In this course you will be walking (not running) and do some light exercises. Suited for elderly and people with a fragile condition. A professional trainer will be guiding this course.
★Beginners course: this training is especially suited for novice runners. No running experience or fitness level is required. Participants learn the right running techniques, how to prevent injuries and enjoy running. With the personal guidance of a professional trainer they will be able to run up to 30-40 minutes consecutively at their own pace.

★Revalidatietraining: For comeback runners who want to pick up running after an injury period. Join this course any time.

★☆Rustig Aan: This is a training for comeback and novice runners with no or little running experience. Especially suited for runners who have short endurance and want to train in a slower pace. Personally guided by a professional trainer, the runners will be able to run up to 25 minutes at their own pace (Rustig Aan vervolg:  25-30 min. )

★★Half-gevorderden: this course is geared towards runners who already do runs of up to 30 minutes and want to extend this to a full hour. This training is an excellent choice for runners who want to be faster on the 10k. At certain locations, we offer the semi-advanced group into Level I and Level II. Level I training courses are less intensive than Level II courses.

★★★Gevorderden en Marathon: aimed at experienced runners who want to continue to run, are looking to enhance their running technique and increase their running speed.  An excellent choice for runners in training for a half or a full marathon and for those who enjoy more intensive trainings.

★★★Running Bootcamp: Bootcamp for runners. Mixed training with bootcamp elements, running and interval training.
